I group of us from ODC snowshoed up to Mt Pinos campground (didn't have the energy to make it to Chula w/ full packs and all) but don't expect to be able to do any downhill just yet at least where we went. 6" to maybe 1-1/2ft at McGill area and 1ft to 2ft at Pinos campground. Lot's of bushes on the open slops still but for cross-country trails your in good shape once you get about mile pass the beginning of the McGill Trail-head. The snow that did fall on Saturday and Saturday night was mostly wet w/ occasionally fluffy flurries. The pic below is at Mt Pinos Campground
