I skiied on the west side of McGill campground late this afternoon (Friday) toward Northridge Bowls. There was about a foot on top of the picnic tables in the campground. It was soft and powdery with a light crust in spots exposed to sun that you break right through. Kept bogging down going downhill, maybe because the snow was too cold to liquify under the skis?
