The good news is that Kern County had the snow machine repaired. The bad news is that upper Mt. Pinos road is still at the tertiary (3rd) level of response for the roads department. The county juggles resources and is pressed to plow either arteries & residential roads which *must* be cleared regularly, versus the recreation road which we'd *like* cleared promptly.
