I just returned yesterday - 4/02/08. Snow was forecast but as of sundown there was noting more than a few LIGHT flurries with no accumulation. It may have dropped an inch overnight... not sure. The trail to the summit was mixed with dirt, rocks and patchy snow but as we reached the first meadows, it looked skiable. The surrounding slopes all had pretty good coverage and in retrospect, we should have carried our skis up just to get in some practice runs. We read somewhere that there was 12"-24" of snow but realistically, it was more like 0"-24" with a lot of dirt showing at the trailhead. I think even at the coast where we live the rain was only about 0.5" so it is doubtful that there was much snow accumulation. If you go, take your skis and consider packing them to the summit. The meadows looked like it could have been fun.
