Hi Kelly. I checked last weekend's patrol report and apparently the road was open up to McGill, where the patrol was stationed. So if no more snow has fallen, then I'm guessing McGill is a good assumption. That said, I heard that somewhere between 700 and 800 cars(!!!) were counted between the "Y" and McGill last Saturday and CHP coned off Mt. Pinos road pretty early in the day to try and control the crowds. So START EARLY!
