Per below, if someone on the patrol can give us measurements and info weekly, we will get it out to the public, the media and post it online at www.shopoutdoors.com/members/snowreport.html .
Based on snowpack at lower elevations, we are estimating 4 to 6 feet on Pinos. Mt. Pinos Hwy. is not plowed yet, no info as to when it will be. Snowing this evening, 1/27. CHP was turning everyone away today @ I-5. Lloyd

Rick- We are putting together a network of contributors to get the best possible snow reports out to the public. If you can email me your observations and/or measurements at least once a week we will make sure they get out with our report, which I am trying to get out by Thursday night weekly. We are notifying all of the media outlets in the region, interested parties, folks on our mailing list and public agencies that are involved at Mt. Pinos, and posting them on our website. Thanks for your help. Lloyd Wiens

MtPinos Message Board Advisory: When planning a visit to Mt. Pinos, always check with a reliable weather forecast, as well as the Los Padres Ranger District, for the latest conditions and recommendations. These are good places to start:
