Posted by trailgoon Well, it's pretty darn good up there if you know where to look and like to ski steeper north facing deposition zones along the highest ridges in the trees. Southern aspects are brown, but north facing deposition zones have 2-3 feet of variable quality powder ranging from crust to glop to some really nice untracked (until today) powder in places the sun don’t shine. Bowls are holding about 50-150cm of corn in shaded areas. Anyplace receiving full sun is brown. It looks like the last storm put down about a foot on average and was pretty light, so it’s distributed around. Exposed areas have nothing because it all got blown into a few really nice ‘stash’ spots that are in great shape. Bottom line: I’m really glad we went, I’m walking a little stiff, and I satisfied my BC Jones just fine! -trailgoon YouTube video of our day at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dTLN8bRSmM
