Posted by jdb The trail to Condor Point is hard packed, icy in spots, dry in spots. About 90% of the area above the Chula Vista parking lot has perhaps 6"-8" of snow. Pinos summit is partly windblown bare on the southern aspect.

There has not been much new snow for at least a couple/few weeks. The existing base is hard packed, icy, and VERY slippery in well traveled areas such as the sledding hills.
