Posted by jdb ********** The snow line began approximately 1/2 mile above the first snow gate, el. perhaps 7500'. Snowpack is consolidated, 6"-18" depending on location and cover. Fast hardpack during morning shadows; Slower wet granular in afternoon sun. All trails skiable, although bottom of Harvest/Pinos loop browned out over the final 50 yards. Excellent cover on Condor Summit Road all the way to the top. Cover on south aspects thinning and some shrub/rocks showing; cover on north aspects better. Skiable cover on Microwave and John's run, although shrubs in places. Deepest snowpack in shady woods such as blue trail to Inspiration Point, and also Outback and Harvest trails. Notes: - During stormy weather, check with the Los Padres Ranger District regarding possible road closures.
