Posted by jdb - Trails below Nordic Base, such as Harvest and Knoll, had thin 3-6" snowpack and were skiable most of the way down to Mt. Pinos Rd. Final 100 yards of trail leading to road mudded out, but still snow adjacent to trail. South aspects were thinly covered with brush and rocks showing. North aspects were better covered and turns could be carved on many slopes. - Condor Summit Road had 3-6" snowpack. Skiable and decently tracked from Nordic Base, up Luge, to First Meadow. Beginning at 1st Meadow and heading uphill, trail turned heavily bootpacked (cratered) and glazed with ice. Conditions at 2nd Meadow and Condor Point unknown. - As usual, great powdery snow was found on the Mashed Potatoes and adjacent Sweet Potatoes slopes. These are to the skier's left, just a few hundred yards from the parking lot, on the main trail heading uphill. Refer to the NordicBase website for a trail map. Think snow!
