My 4th.greatgrandfather was William Smith,I think born either in Maryland or England 1757-1766. William Smith married a Susanna "Susannah" French abt. 1783-1784 timeframe in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. Susanna was born 1766 Saint Mary's County, Maryland. Both William and Susanna immigrated from SMC Maryland to Washington Kentucky 1785 from Kentucky they immigrated to Daviess County, Indiana early 1800's. Their children are 1.William smith born between abt.1787 married Sara Ann Fenwick Feb. 20, 1811 Washington County, Kentucky
