On the mortality table of 1850 William Salmon died of a carbuncle in August of 1849. I cannot find him anywhere else. What family members reported this death to the census taker? I am looking for a William Salmon whose wife was called Betsy and they had at least one child, John Salmon. They family may have returned to Virginia.
