Looking for parents of Sally or Sallie Smith born about 1919 in Magoffin County Kentucky. She was the second wife of Newt Cole (Son of Wallace or Wallis). I was told that Sally's father was murdered when she was still a child. The story goes that she found him in the field, he had been shot. I do not know if this was in Magoffin County or not. I would appreciate any information. Thank you
