Hello, There are some Shepherds in my family line, and quite a few Thomas and Williams and Jane Shepherd. Most of this line goes back to Sampson Shepherd and Martha Mayo. One Thomas, I have was married to Elizabeth Highsmith and had the following: Thomas, Sampson, William, James, Martha, Uriah, Nimrod, Rebecca, Thomas, Charles and Mary. The Jane Shepherd I have is the Daughter of Sampson Shepherd and first wife Christine (?). They came from NC, VA and Kentucky. If any of these names looks familiar please let me know
