I don't know if my Andrew J. Smith (born 1812 in KY) is the same as yours. He had a son named William (don't know middle name) born in 1836 in KY. I don't know if Andrew lived in Arkansas. Andrew's father, Spencer, was born in Spartanburg SC, but don't know where his mother, Mary Melinda Wilson, was born. Let me know if this has been helpful. Good luck!
