I am looking for my ancestors, particular Dorothy Richmond who married my Great Grandfather, Silas Gatewood Richmond in 1830 in Oldham County, KY. She (Dorothy) was a full bloodied Indian and was adopted into the Richmond line, her adopted father was Valentine Richmond and her adopted mother as Rachel Ferguson. Dorothy had a brother (my Dad called him Nate), and he was also adopted by Valentine and Rachel. Valentine's parents were James (Clete?) Richmond born 1775 and died in 1858 in Kentucky. Valentine's mother was Sara or Sally Rowlett, born 1767 and died in 1855. Silas father was John Richmond, (born 1796 in Virginia and Died in 1882 Oldham County, KY,) his mother was Anny (or Alice or Ally, Robbins, (I believe this was a married name from a 1st, marriage and I believe her maiden name might have been Gatewood. Anny or Ally was born in 1802 in Virginia and died in 1887 in Kentucky. My Great Grandfathers death certificate showed his Mother as Ms. Robbins. Are you able to help me?
