having a guard dog is no different from using a gun for self defense. if you have to go to court your story has to sound better than the prosecutor's story. when the prosecutor puts up photos of bear baits & dog fights from the internet because it's a rare south asian fighting mastiff, it looks the same to a jury as handloads & submachine guns. no matter how justified, you have now been made to look unnecessarily violent by nature. no amount of "but they are statistically safer than nonfighting breeds" (which is going to be hard to prove since you will need stats from pakistan since the breed doesn't exist in measurable numbers anywhere else except japan where it is kept solely for matching) is going to outweigh bloody pics of dogs & bears.

: i don't reccommend it. if the dog ever bites

: Hi all,
:
:
: I am interested in purchasing a Bully
: Kutta puppy. I am in the US (Houston) and
: would prefer to get one from the US, but
: have been looking and can not seem to find
: any here. I am vehemently against forcing
: animals to fight, I want this dog for
: protection of my property and as a pet, and
: have become infatuated with the breed. I
: have researched this breed thoroughly and
: understand the issues that owning a dog of
: this nature will present. Please let me
: know if anyone here can recommend a
: reputable breeder of these dogs preferable
: in the US, but anywhere else would be
: appreciated also.
:
:
: In that respect there is no difference to
: APBT or Tosa or even to CAO and CO.
: Moreover, most BK, as fighting dogs, are
: less man aggressive than a lot of guarding
: breeds.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
