Is the parent club through AKC solidified? Best way to prevent any of those things from happening is to have a solid parent club that will set the rules for the breed in AKC. If you want temperment and health certifications for dogs you can probably make it a requirement before a dog can recieve a conformation CH title, similar to how labrador retrievers need to pass a field test to get theirs.
