I have read the curto book and I own one dog and co-own two more that are out of curto dogs and los cardones. But according to curto there is a difference. Being that the dogo canarios are bigger heavier dogs with longer muzzles, where as old world ( original type presas have a shorter muzzle and are not quite as large as the dogo canario. The shorter muzzles are for a better grip which that's what they are gripping dogs. I know everyone has there own thoughts an opinions on this but I'm curious as to what others really think. As you know the AKC/FSS reconizes the presa tell me what do you think about the presa being in the AKC ?
