I aware the blue leash is too short (I think was only 4 foot in length)...and in the video you will see I made them switch to a longer 6 foot leather leash that allows them to handle the dog better...so their feet don't get crossed up with the dog's rear feet.
Here are some photos of my wife, Wendy, who only weighs about 115-120# handling our boy Chimera's Linebaugh that weighs nearly as much as she does.
Linebaugh is strong and large enough that he does manage to pull Wendy forward some as a result of her using her front hand too much instead of her rear hand on her hip. We are working to improve her handling, and although she does hold her ground, there is room for improvement in this area. She is aware of it, but I must say I am pleased with her progress today and her willingness to handle the dogs while doing bitework. Updates will be made as she develops her skills as a handler.
