Isn't the ban just in Denver City Limits? Not that that makes it any less of an issue etc... but wanted to make sure that there is some clarification as far as traveling through goes. They've had an ADBA show in Golden CO the past two years since I've been involved with ADBA pits and haven't had any issues with people travelling through on that. Golden is very near Denver for anyone curious and not directly involved in Denver.
I also guess that those of us in the surrounding areas need to keep up on the Denver issue even if the State of CO declared that BSL is unconstitutional (save Denver)... BEFORE that declaration pretty much all of colorado was following suite with the Denver move of Banning APBT's and pit bull like dogs...they'd ban, then the next day they'd head out to pick up the pits in their county and put them down... That was back around 2005 probably and a REALLy rough time for pit owners in ALL of Colorado. I'm in Wyoming and even we were worried about the effects the Colorado banning was having on our own state. Luckily legislation was made that clearly made BSL in the state of CO illegal. Denver Appealed that law and managed to get the right to have BSL within the city limits of Denver.
ColdCoct...in the meantime you could always head to Ft. Collins or the Springs...or even Aurora, Golden etc...since the breed ban does not extend to those areas.
