I had to deal with proposed BSL in the last city I live in here in Michigan. It was a battle but the city coucil took the time to listen and really look at the matter carefully and in the end they chose to go with a comprehensive dangerous dog law instead of BSL. Through all that, I got put in touch with a lot of people dealing with BSL that provided me tons of really helpful information....so many people who have had to deal with BSL really helped me and the other dog owners in my city that I could never begin to thank everyone. Since then, I have tried to stay on top of BSL in other places and write letters or crosspost info.
I don't live in Denver. I guess you could say my interest in this is because I had to deal with proposed BSL and so many people volunteered their time and info when I needed it.
Denver dog owners need a LOT of help with fighting this law that was put in place in 2005 and took the lives of so many good dogs.
