If there is a genetic test for something, clear by parentage means both parents have screened DNA 100% clear (not carrying a recessive). Now, this means ALL sets of grands have to have tested 100% clear AND the breeder better be able to prove it. If not, I would not trust it myself. Now, my youngsters are vWD clear, DNA test by parentage and if needed, I can prove it. But I will be having them tested anyhow just for others...
