Mom emailed, Grandpa is in the hospital again. I am gettign irritated with family as he is not able to safely live alone - even with a home health aid 24 hours (they cannot admin his meds, just help him and call 911 if needed). And he is wandering (mental status altered due to strokes and poorly managed diabetes). His body dies not register to his brain when he has an infection so he canbe deathly ill and not know it. It is taking its toll on my Mom and her family and causing huge rifts. This sucks... I am actually angry at my family for nto taking a stronger stance when my grandmother wanted to go to a group living community years ago - had they done this, chances are she would be alive today. But I cannot live in the past.
But I will be in and out until things settle and then hopefully back more.
