Hi and welcome!
I bet you can't wait to get our new puppy. Do you think it will be a difficult adjustment for Eve? I have a 12 1/2 yo Akita and despite being strange dog aggressive he has made out pretty good with my Tosa that I brought in when he was 3 and now my Presa/Corso mix that we just got, both females of course. As I'm sure you know you just have to watch them and use good common sense to avoid issues.
