Thank you again for the link. It was a good, unbiased article, imo. I especially appreciated that it was written by a vet, included references and published in a respected journal. Just seems to hold a bit more weight than the articles written by Joe Schmo 
I was a bit worried that it would have me afraid to spay my puppy but in our situation after reading this article I don't feel there is a large risk for health or behavioral issues as the direct result of a spay at around 6 mos as per my discussion with my vet.
