I had my Corso spayed at 6 months old which was a huge mistake. first of all the vet didn't recognize she had infantile vulva. She already had vaginitis because of the infantile vulva but since he didn't recognize it, he proceeded with the spay. When her vaginitis didn't go away we ended up at a reproduction specialist who told me had she gone thru her first heat she would have matured and the infantile vulva would have fixed itself. She had to have plastic surgery to fix it.
