Funny, many families have Presas because they are usually so good with children and the family. I had Rotts for 20 years and got tired of the health problems. I wanted a guardian breed/something short hair/overall quiet dog (not hyper or always busy)/something intimidating if I am walking at 6:00 am alone but temperament balanced to "raise to the occasion" and discovered the Presa almost 10 years ago. I currently have four and could not imagine not having them........
