Yes, that is correct.
A family allowed their dog to escape, he attacked another dog and was deemed dangerous by Wash DC. The owners fought and their choice was get the dog out of "Dodge" or he would be executed.
Finally a dangerous dog law being applied to a non bully breed and to a breed often assumed to be 100% safe!
