I noticed the strong fishy odor as well. It was a bit odd. I guess some dogs just can't do that much salmon, maybe? I switched them over to Tiberwolf now. They seem to be doing better this way.
My only problem now is getting him to gain weight. It has been about a month now since I adopted him, and he is still bony and skinny. He should weight 90+, but he is only hovering at about 70. When I got him, he was 62 pounds. No parasites, no thyroid problems, no nothing. Vet is not sure why.
Know of any good foods that will fatten this skinny guy up? He seems happy otherwise, but it always bothers me when I feel all of those ribs.
I feed the right amount for his projected weight, not his current weight.
