The OFA View is the normal view any vet does when looking for HD- however they do Not grade the hips together againest the database in OFA.
Penn Hip requires the vet to be certified in HIPS separate and above normal vet school xray 101. It requires a PI be it what ever chip or tattoo thus you have less FRAUDS than OFA has..
Then rate each hip .
So yes a dr xraying means NOTHING without the certification.
I am now going to double up the OFA view when I do the PH and get both . Cost 50 more and double the price of OFA.. Just so I can compare.
