Look at Kay's reply and look at mine to her...
She thought it may be a cross between an Eng Bulldog and Mastiff based on one site she saw - therefore, based on what she found on a puppy for sale site, it looks like someone trying to cash in on a cross.
Step out of the box and look at what you have posted on line and where...
What you may not want to look like is what has come off at least one on line ad - this is what people have to go by when looking first at breeders by using the internet.
Now, I WANT you to prove me wrong. But your website and the ads just do not give that impression and first impressions with websites is what people go by.
When I look at a website of a breed and I come from a breeding and exhibiting/performance family and I am returning to showing with two younger dogs - one just turned six months and the other has been shown already but is still maturing, I also have a background in genetics, related to a vet, etc... anyhow, this is what I look for:
Someone who has quality dogs and is trying to prove it through various shows, events, etc. Even if I am looking for a pet, I want someone who is still trying to produce dogs who are not going to further mire a breed in mediocrity. I want someone who is also testing for various health issues and screeing for them. Why? I want to know someone is trying to do all they can to help prevent something from being passed on to a dog I purchase.
However, your website does not show anything but pretty dogs being bred. I found no records of your dogs on OFA - do you PennHip? I found nothing in conformation shows that I checked. I have not researched your dogs for working titles or performance events (Mastiffs tend not to excell in these but there is one doing Sch work I know of!)
So, what are you doing with your dogs other than breeding? This is all you are being asked.
