4.00 Dam higher by you..
Most of my buyers are midwest or the other coast.
So they cant drive it is a ship thing for the pup. Because that is where they want the next step un in dual ranch- livestock guardians.
Bigger predators demand bigger LGDS.
Kangals nearest to Va breeder I know of is Florida. Sue kocher.
Personally for generic livestock work I do not believe in buying a rare breed.
However if someone wants a specific guardian.
Buying what is closest vs what is BEST or better is not what I call cost effective regardless of cost.
Nor do I believe if they have a ASD breeder or a Pry breeder in your backyard it does NOT make them better than the one 2 states away.
Researching each breeder and each line should be a MUST..
In your case why change when you find what u want.
In over 50 pups I only have 2 in NY one in PA.
The last pup paid $200 in gas last weekend to drive her 2nd FF CAS to her long island home.
However she is rich so she could afford it - unlike others.
My own thing is I believe people should VISIT the breeder before purchase and that can get expenisive.
For on topic I still say go ASD since they have a rescue network and waiting for a pup to grow up to guard can cost your livestock.
Personally im no fan of Prys since it does take ALLOT of grooming to keep them mat free.
And as a working dog it is doubly hard.
I saw that because of the many Prys I have to shave down due to neglect...
