No surprise this is a great post.

Sadly there are no easy answers and definitely a need for improvement all around especially with the prospective buyer's responsibility to be honest with themselves and the adopter. It hits close to home for me because years back I had a Tosa breeder try to convince me to take a male puppy when he knew I had a 3 yo male Akita and that they would be house dogs. His advice: "if they are raised together they will be fine". Forutnately I knew this wouldn't be the type of situation I could deal with and found a female pup.

Have you tried submitting your articles to veterinary/vet tech magazines? As always thank you and I look forward to your future articles.
