Yes I have been involved in rescue but got sick of the god complexes, pet nazi attitudes, the swing away from animal welfare towards animal rights and general lack of knowledge about dogs. People who know little about dogs are not good screeners.

Blaming breeders for dogs being turned into pounds or shelters is like Rosie O'Donnell blaming McDonald's for her being fat. There will always be irresponsible breeders and bad owners will always be bad owners.

And yes, that is AR BS. They've been saying it for many years because they think all breeding is bad and want to stop it all. AR propaganda is more pervasive than many realize.
