I just got a new book, it's old but new to me and just the introduction alone was very interesting to read. I think if you take a minute and check it out you might be happy to note that there are folks out there who understand where animals are in the whole scheme of things and who actually appreciates the facts that the problem is with education and not overpopulation etc... If more pet owners were properly educated HSUS and PETA wouldn't have the pull that they do.
Jill...I'd encourage you to take a peek at the intro of the book as well, again, for an objective look at one responsible pet owner's view on the human animal relationship and whatnot. It really has been a great read so far. I was skeptical but am enjoying the book immensely!
Katz on Dogs is the title by John Katz...Jill if you haven't read him he's a great writer with some really good sappy books out there. I love them.
