I have been around many Corsos as well as Presas and I think their temperament is totally different. You are smart to do your research; check out as many as you can preferably off their property. I don't think there is much difference as far as healthier/longer lived as far as the breeds but I do think there is a huge difference in what you feed/vaccinate the dog as far as healthy or longer lived.
