My mother and sister use nothing though a friend of our uses goat's milk from her own goats. It is possible to over-supplement and cause troubles. As long as the pups are growing well, gaining well, no supplementation should be needed.
Now are you talking about older puppies? Again, same thing - you can over supplement.
What are you looking at doing for supplementing?
