My 5 month old pit bull puppy is driving me nutz with this house breaking thing. Can some one tell me at what age do most male dogs become completely house broken? And how do i teach him to bark or whine or jump on me to let me know he needs to go out? Now when he is in his crate he will bark and that is how i know he needs to go out. But when he is out in the house he want do nothing. My female was easy to housebreak I didn't have to use a crate even though she had one but she didn't like it at all she chewed it up so i just stop putting her in there but i had no problems housebreaking her.
