Gateway homes

i am told that gateway is part of champion homes. i am planning to order one in the summer. are these bad homes? or do u think it is just the plant that builds them? mine will come out of alabama. i can't afford to buy a home or build one. this is the only option i have.. (manufactured homes) anyone with any info would be great... i am planning to get 2x6 in the walls also..
