As most know that read posts here regularly, my posts have primarily been about my children. The jerk, their father, promised to take them on a holiday, and instead took his new family. My 11 year old is so very hurt, my 16 year old is angry. What can I tell them when he repeatedly hurt's them, how do you get them to realize we have no control over his actions? My youngest has spoke with him, wrote to him, tried to ask for alone time with him, but he is continues to let him down. After his latest "stunt" he said it was all my fault, that I was too blame, when I had absolutely nothing to do with this holiday or my kid's reactions. Then when I tried to call him his girlfriend would not let me speak to him, she blamed me for everything, called me a few choice words, behaved like a spoilt Bi@@h. I guess my main question is what do you say to you kid's when they are continually diappointed ? Thanks, Lorrie
