Be patient with yourself. Your words sound as though you are upset at yourself for being upset, try really hard not to be. He doesn't hate you, he just wants something new. It isn't about you and that is why it is hard to get it through to ourselves because what once was our life is not anymore and we didn't have a say in it. Missing being loved by someone special to you is normal and natural. Down the road you will probably feel differently about dating and believe me you will still hear stories about him for a very long time. I do, and most of them don't come from my daughter.
