You can turn this around. I'd call and tell those you went off on, you were having a bad day, and took it out on them and are sorry. NOT for the almost ex, or for the people doing the tale packing. For yourself.... You don't need anyone showing up in court for his side telling that you were out of control... Look at it like a game. You have to out-think the "bad guy" and keep your cool til you win. Will you win? YES! The mid-lifer is in the wrong, as is his "new lady" The rumor mill will continue until the next juicy piece of gossip takes over. People never realize how harmful gossip is; it called water cooler news until it is about you, then it hurts. Place the blame where it goes, 100% on the Mid-lifer! You hang in there, this situation hurts worse than anything I have ever faced, and all of us have lost it at some point. But, the one that keeps their cool, will come out on top...
