If you click the envelope, it should open your default email program (check your browser settings) with a blank message to that email address. If you use your internet browser to log into your email and to send/receive email messages, you can right click on the envelope, select the 'copy link' option, and paste the address into a new email message.
I know a lot of people don't like to include their email addresses in the body of their responses as a means of personal security. I don't mind if you do include it in your response, but if you're not comfortable doing so, you also have the 'edit' button available to remove it if you wish to do so.
