Re: more DMIL startup pics
While you gentlemen bicker over donuts, windows, and unions, I've been busy hauling freight. In fact, MSBC (Muskegon/Bay City) is about to depart Muskegon AS I AM WRITING! I've decided to change the old GTW symbols with more prototypical (for a regional railroad) letter designations, a la Iowa Interstate. MSBC and BCMS are the overhead trains, MSR #1 & #2 are the Muskegon locals (Muskegon Switch Run), GSR #1 & #2 are the Grand Rapids Locals, and there may be an occasional DSR (Durand Switch Run) running up to Grand Rapids if traffic is heavy. In other news, the Essexville Coal contract is going over to the C&O (DMIL only has it for the 1st and 4th quarters), and I'll have to reassign my SD40-2s. That'll do for now. The safe way is the right way.
