Also a Pennsy RS-2 is assigned as the power for the Mackinac local and doubles as the St Ignace switcher. When I was a kid my uncle arranged for a cab ride from Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo. The engine we rode on was PRR #4046, so when Proto 1000 came out of a model of that engine with the exact number I jumped at the chance to buy it.
