Called the Ten Commandments for Yard Design, this guy has some great ideas for a smooth running yard operations for both double and single track railroads. Between full time work, saving for a car, and student loans I have a limited amount to use to work on my layout, but as I said above I have done a few things and made some vids of the new equipment I have aquired over the last few months. I am now up to over 70 freight cars and will be up to about 36 locos after I pay off some layaway. Hence the reason I would like to go back to double track. Basically I am still stuck in that track laying stage and seem to not find a plan that will offer something that I won't get board with after awhile. I see other layout plans and they look much more interesting then I look at mine and it seems I have too much track in one area and not enough in another. But for a history on my hobby of colleting trains I will post a link to my website I created last year on freewebs, lots of pictures and info about my experience will model railroading, bear in mind I do have to add a lot to the site still but at least you can get an idea as to what made my layout into what it is today, hope you enjoy.
