I am looking for any info on Barton Neal who moved from Lee County, Virginia to Powell's Valley, Kentucky sometime after 1832. According to family documents he owned a considerable farm or plantation in Powell's Valley. I believe that he was related to Daniel Boone by marriage. His son, Daniel Boone Callaway Neal was born in Virginia in 1832 and died in Cedar County, Missouri in 1909. I think that Daniel probably had siblings but I don't know any of their names. Barton was born in Virginia and his wife(name not known) was born in Tennessee.
Barton was my great-great grandfather and Daniel was my great-grandfather. I am guessing that Barton was born between 1800 and 1810. I don't know if he moved to Missouri with his son or stayed in Kentucky. I have found records of Daniel Neal with spellings of Neale and Neel but our family has always spelled it Neal. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
