Working on ancestors and decendants of Henry Newton abt 1837, d 1/14/1893 Daviess Co. Was Cpl Union Army of the Ohio in KY calvary 12thRgt Co D. Variously given as Henry J Newton, Henry Isaac Newton. m. Margaret Marcelline Lewis. I decend from one of their twin girls. I have a database of KY Newtons in federal censuses.
Have his parents as Benedict and Jane Chesire but cannot find this couple in the KY censuses
