My grandmother is Carrie Puckett, b: 17 August 1897, Hart County,d: 25 May 1983, Hodgenville, LaRue County, Ky, she is the daughter of Martin Luther Puckett and Laura Best Puckett, the only information I have is that Laura died sometime after Carrie was born and Martin left her with a sister that was married to a Vance. I don't have much on the Puckett's or the Best for Grandma Carrie wouldn't talk about when she was growing up and no one else will talk about her and that she was raised by her father's (Martin) sister that was married to a Vance. I would like to know about the Pucketts and how the line runs for some information I have gotten isn't right and I have had so much problems in trying to find out anything. Do you live in Ky?
